What format should the episodes I upload be in?

We can transcode pretty much anything. When we take a file from you, we will transcode it to around a dozen different streaming formats suitable for different device and bandwidth combinations. We deliver content in resolutions up to 4K.

Having said that, some options are better than others. The ideal format is ProRes 422HQ in the highest resolution possible. Of course, that's VERY bandwidth intensive and almost no viewers will benefit from your source material being 4K ProRes 422HQ. For the vast majority of viewers, uploading masters that are the highest quality H.264 is good enough and its much quicker than ProRes.
