How does Seeka TV make money?

Seeka TV is completely free to everyone and we would like to keep it that way.

Our revenue model is one based on revenue sharing with the filmmakers. It comes in the following forms:

• Advertising
• Subscriptions
• Tipping

The filmmaker gets the bulk of the revenue from all of these sources. The filmmaker makes money by creating a great show. Seeka TV makes money by providing a platform with a lot of great and diverse filmmakers making great shows.

Specifically, Seeka TV's core revenue stream is advertising and subscriptions—the filmmakers receive almost all of the tipping revenue.

In addition to these three revenue streams, we'll be introducing other innovative forms of bringing in revenue to filmmakers and Seeka TV without forcing anyone into subscription plans. It's our objective to disrupt online entertainment by making being an independent web series creator a viable business. We want to find ways for the independent filmmaker to make money while at the same time being viewer-friendly.

You may notice that we're not currently showing ads. While Seeka TV is in the soft-launch phase, there will be no advertising. When we introduce advertising, our objective is to do it in a viewer-friendly manner.
